Roman Black Gallery, London Following the fatal gas blast oposite the artist's studio on Stanley Road, Dan has chosen to set up a memorial for Emmad Quershi, the 27 year-old businessman who tragically lost his life. Paintings depicting the aftermath will be on show at Roman Black Gallery and proceeds will help to establish a fund. 600 Fulham Road, Parson's Green, SW6 5PA Tel: 020 7731 5685 Wales Portrait Award 2 Bodelwyddan Castle, N.Wales, 17th June - 19th July 2008 St David's Hall, Cardiff, 14th September - 25th October 2008 A portrait of Sir Tasker Watkins V.C. has been selected for the biennial portrature award. Other venues around Wales will follow throughout the summer. Recent Work - Solo exhibition MoMA Wales, Y Tabernacl, Machynlleth 8th December 2008 - 7th March 2009 A solo exhibition of recent paintings. The main theme to the works displayed will focus on the visual consequences of enviromental issues facing mankind. As the world's population grows and technology evolves, the natural world responds: sometimes with devestating results and other times in complete harmony. | ||||||||
